Andy Santos' 2013 MLB Season Predictions

The upcoming 2013 baseball season already has many people talking about favorites to make it to the World Series. This includes many people who feel like the two Los Angeles area teams(Dodgers and Angels) are the clear favorites. While others feel that the Detroit Tigers are primed to make another run, possibly against the Giants again, or against the Nationals. The Toronto Blue Jays, with the acquisitions of R.A. Dickey, Jose Reyes, Mark Bueherle, Melky Cabrera, and Josh Johnson seem to be the big winners of the off season, but with that being said look at how the Miami Marlins fared after they spent the big money last off season. The St. Louis Cardinals made some noise in the 2012 postseason, only to fall 1 game short of the World Series. In the world of baseball the only thing that we can expect is the unexpected, so with that being said I will make my best attempt at predicting the 2013 MLB season, including division winners, wild card winners, playoffs, and team outlooks.

AL Notes: Yankees wont be as good as in seasons past, Blue Jays will make playoffs for first time in years but will flop in the ALDS, Angels will get to the ALCS to fall short, Astros receive a rude welcoming to the AL, Tigers are the best team of the league, Miguel Cabrera will repeat as MVP, Indians are my surprise team of 2013.

NL Notes: Nationals are the deepest and most complete team in baseball, Dodgers will miss the playoffs players who didn't work out in Boston won't work in L.A. either, Cardinals will make another deep October playoff run, Braves will disappoint again, Reds will be a legitimate contender, Andrew McCutchen will take his game to new heights maybe NL MVP in 2013.
